as “owner” and Betty Wold, who resides at the above address, herein after
referred to as “this stable”.
IT IS HEREBY AGREED TO AS
FOLLOWS:
1.
Owner agrees to pay the sum of $250, per horse per
month, or $10 per day per horse. Owner
understands that this stable will not allow any horse to leave on any given day
later than noon without charging one full day’s board. Monthly board is to be paid in advance and is
due on the first day of each month. A
late charge of 10% of due balance; will be paid, for any payment not received
buy the 10th of each month.
All board payment will be mailed to the above address made payable to BETTY
WOLD. Owner shall pay all costs and
charges of and for special services listed hereinafter, and all veterinary and
medical costs that may be incurred hereinafter for the horse.
2.
Information to be boarded by owner is hereby stated
in writing: A copy of the horses
registration papers must be submitted to this stable and remain on file while
said horse is being boarded.

3.
If the horse becomes ill or is injured, this stable
shall attempt to telephone the owner, collect, immediately. If the owner does not immediately inform this
stable regarding the measures to be taken, or if the state of the animal’s
health requires immediate action, this stable is authorized to request the
services of a veterinarian or to give any other attention that appears to be
advisable. The owner shall promptly pay
all expense for all services.
4.
The owner agrees that this stable shall not be liable
for damages to horse of any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to,
loss by fire, theft, running away. The
owner further agrees they shall be solely responsible at all times for any and
all acts of the animal including but not limited to damage to this stable’s
property such as stalls, buckets, lighting, fencing, wiring, waterers, etc.,
and claims or injuries of loss of life that may be sustained by owner, his
family, invitees and agents, or any other persons of their property.
5.
The owner agrees that boarded horses will participate
in this stable’s worming, immunization and teeth floating programs, and will be
billed for such services, as they are performed.
6.
The owner hereby grants a lien on the animal along
with its registration certificate issued by the breed association to this
stable for all charges resulting from boarding and rendering any other services
to the animal. If any such charges shall
be unpaid for a period of 30 days after they come due, this stable may, upon 30
days notice in writing to the owner, seize the animal, along with registration
certificate and registration papers, issued by the breed association, upon the
enactment of this clause. The notice may
be served through the mail or given to the owner by messenger. The proceeds of the sale, after paying the
expense thereof, shall be applied to liquidate the indebtedness secured by the
lien including all charges accrued in caring for the animal up to the date of
sale and the balance shall be paid to the owner. If the proceeds of the sale are insufficient
to cover the indebtedness, the owner shall pay the difference to this stable.
7.
Owner must give this stable at least 30 days prior
notice before removing the horse from the stable. The owner is responsible for 30 days of
payment if they fail to give notice to the stable. No horse will be allowed to leave this stable
unless all bills are paid in full.
8.
In the event that someone other than the owner or his
or her family member (of which is known by this stable) calls for the horse,
such person shall have written permission signed by that owner to remove or
ride the horse.
9.
Upon signing of this agreement, owner acknowledges
that they have read and agrees to be bound to this stable’s rules.
10.
That this agreement is entered in the state of

AND STABLE’S RULES.
